All Are Invited to Animal Shelter’s “Ugly Sweater Party”

Reduced Adoption Fees & Festive Fun

Is my sweater ugly?

Is my sweater ugly?

Get into the holiday spirit by visiting the Fairfax County Animal Shelter for the Ugly Sweater Party, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13, during regular shelter hours.

There will be 40 available cats and kittens and 25 dogs and puppies, many wearing their best holiday sweaters. Dog adoption fees will be reduced to $100 and cat adoption fees will be $50.  Most pets go home the same day they’re adopted.

If you’re not in the market for a new pet, but want to join the festivities, this is a great time to bring your family to see the newly-renovated shelter and enjoy hands-on fun with rabbits and guinea pigs.  Shelter volunteers will be taking fun photos of our visitors posing with adoptable pets.
