CHECKPOINT, Richmond Highway/Huntington Avenue, 05/23/15. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint for drunk drivers. Seven-hundred-fifty vehicles passed through. 13 summonses were issued and one criminal arrest was made.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 13900 block of Rockland Village Drive, 05/23/15, 7:59 a.m. A resident awoke and discovered an unknown woman sleeping in one of the bedrooms of the residence. Maria Henriquez, 27, of Charles Town, West Virginia was arrested and charged with unlawful entry.

TRESSPASSING WITH APPREHENSION, 9100 block of Lee Highway, 05/25/15, 10:26 p.m. A pizza delivery driver was exiting his vehicle when a man approached him and entered the victim’s vehicle on the passenger side. The suspect then exited the vehicle and fled. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. Edgar A. Zelaya Ayala was charged with vehicle trespass.
BURGLARY, 4000 block of 41ST Street, 05/23/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 3500 block of South George Mason Drive, 05/23/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
6500 block of Columbia Pike, purse from business.
9800 block of Georgetown Pike, merchandise from business.

BURGLARY, 8700 block of Redman Street, 05/22/15, around 12:13 p.m. A neighbor of the victim heard noises coming from a nearby residence and called police. A man was seen leaving the residence carrying property. The suspect was described as a male of unknown race and between 20 to 30 years of age.
