ROBBERY, Lockheed Boulevard near Richmond Highway, 07/08/15, around 4:06 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by two men. The suspects assaulted the victim, took cash and fled. Officers, the police helicopter and K9 responded and searched for the suspects. The victim incurred non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The suspects were described as two Hispanic males wearing polo shirts and shorts.
ROBBERY, 7700 block of Richmond Highway, 07/10/15, around 11:00 a.m. The victim was in the parking lot of a shopping center and was approached by two men. One of the suspects engaged the victim in conversation, and a second suspect approached from behind and demanded money. The suspects took cash and property and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The first suspect was described as black, about 60 years old; approximately 6 feet tall and wearing prescription glasses a suit. The second suspect was described as black, about 40 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall,140 pounds, and wearing a baseball cap.

BURGLARY, 8000 block of Tysons Corner Center, 07/13/15. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, Glen Carlyn Drive near Bellview Drive, 07/12/15, around 11:30 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by two men. The suspects displayed a knife and demanded property and cash. The victim was able to flee and eluded the suspects. The suspects were described as Hispanic, between 16 to 18 years of age and between 5 feet 7 inches tall and 5 feet 9 inches tall.
MISSILE AT AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE WITH APPREHENSION, Daniels Avenue/Mangalore Drive, 07/10/15 around 9:39 p.m. The victim was sitting in his vehicle when a bottle struck the windshield. The suspect threw the bottle from the balcony of his residence. Officers responded, located the suspect and arrested him. Duk Chan Kim, 51, of Annandale was charged with maliciously shooting at a vehicle, throwing an object from a high place, and destruction of property.

GRAND LARCENY/PURSUIT WITH APPREHENSION, 6600 block of Springfield Mall, 07/12/15, around 4:28 p.m. Officers responded to shoplifting at the JC Penny’s store where two suspects were attempting to leave in a vehicle. An officer attempted to detain the suspects but they entered a two-door Chevrolet sedan. The suspect vehicle fled and after a brief pursuit, an officer conducted the Precision Immobilization Technique bringing the Chevrolet to a stop and the suspects were arrested. Beatrice Woodward, 55, of Washington D.C., was charged with grand larceny, speed to elude, reckless driving and assault on law enforcement. Danny Scott, 47, of Washington D.C., was charged with grand larceny.
UNLAWFULL ENTRY, 6400 block of Edsall Road, 07/12/15. A resident reported an unknown person entered the residence through unsecured door. Nothing was taken.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 5000 block of McFarland Drive, 07/12/15, around 12:31 p.m. A resident was inside of his residence when he heard a knock at the door. An an unknown man started to open the door, but the victim was able to keep it from opening. The suspect fled and was described as an Asian male about 5 feet 9 inches tall.
