DIRECTED PATROL, 08/22/15. Officers patrolled the county for drunk drivers. Two drivers were charged with DWI. Nine summonses and eleven warnings were issued.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 14400 block of Cool Oak Lane, 08/21/2015 at about 3:28 p.m. Officers were called for a report of a shot person and located an adult man with multiple gunshot wounds outside of a residence. Preliminary investigation shows that the victim and the suspect are known to each other and had a verbal altercation that escalated. The suspect allegedly discharged a handgun striking the victim in the upper body. The suspect retreated back into the residence. Officers rendered aid and the victim was transported to a local hospital by FCPD helicopter. Through quick coordination between officers and dispatchers, a negotiator was placed on the phone and the suspect surrendered to officers without incident a short time later. William J. Addison, 28, of Centreville, was charged with malicious wounding. The injuries incurred by the victim were serious but are non-life-threatening. Case remains under investigation by detectives.
ROBBERY, 2200 block of Stone Wheel Drive, 08/24/15, 8:47 p.m. The victim met the suspects through the website Craigslist and agreed to meet for the sale of a phone. Upon meeting, the suspects took the victim’s cash and property and fled. The suspects were described as black, in their 20s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall, and tattoos on their arms.

PEEPING WITH APPREHENSION, 4500 block of Colony Court, 08/21/15 at about 10:12 p.m. Officers were called for a report of a suspicious person and located a man looking into a window of a residence. Marco A. Castillo, 34, of Oxon Hill, Maryland, was arrested and charged with peeping and trespassing.

BURGLARY, 8300 block of Windfall Road, 08/21/15. A resident reported an unknown man entered the residence without permission. The suspect pushed one of the residents in the home and fled on foot. Nothing was taken. The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s.
GRAFFTI/TRESPASSING WITH APPREHENSION, 4100 block of Pickett Road, 08/24/15 at about 2:40 a.m. School security was conducting a perimeter check at Frost Middle School and located a juvenile male climbing down from the roof of the school. Officers arrested the juvenile and released him to his parents. Petitions are pending for a 15-year-old male juvenile.
