Police Seek Assistance Identifying Robbery Suspects

Police are investigating a series of commercial robberies that occurred between Monday, August 27, and Thursday, September 3, at 7-Eleven stores in the Alexandria-area of Fairfax County.

In each of the robberies, at least two men entered the 7-Eleven stores, displayed handguns and demanded money from the employees. The suspects took cash and fled. None of the victims required medical attention. The suspects were seen departing in a dark-colored four-door sedan following one robbery.

The dates, times and locations of the robberies are listed below:

August 27, – around 2:50 a.m. at 2405 Fairhaven Avenue

August 31, – around 1:05 a.m. at 3100 Lockheed Boulevard

September 3, – around 8:40 a.m. at 6138 North Kings Highway

Fairfax County Detectives are coordinating with detectives from other jurisdictions and the FBI regarding similar cases in the region.
