The Mclean District Citizens Advisory Committee is holding their meeting this evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Mclean District Station. The topic for the meeting will be an overview of the construction of the new station.
14100 block of Autumn Circle, 2006 Toyota Matrix
TRAFFIC PURSUIT: Elkin Street near Linton Lane, 09/14/15 around 2:18 a.m. An officer operating a marked police cruiser attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and attempted to elude him. The driver lost control of the vehicle near the 8700 block of Stockton Parkway, sideswiped a parked vehicle and struck a power pole ending the pursuit. The driver was taken into custody and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Samuel R. Hefner, 26, of Alexandria, was charged with DWI – 3rd Offense, felony speed to elude, and reckless driving.

ROBBERY: 3800 block of South George Mason Drive, 09/16/15 at 3:26 p.m. A victim reported a robbery had occurred sometime last week. Two male suspects walked into the victim’s business, displayed a gun and demanded money. The victim relinquished cash from a register and the suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries. Suspect one was described as a black male in his late 20s, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, between 130-150 pounds, wearing a black niqab. Suspect two was described as a black male in his 30s, 6 feet tall, between 170-200 pounds, wearing a black niqab.
