MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, 6500 block of Divine Street, 09/17/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and damaged property. The residence is under construction. Nothing appears to have been taken.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

5800 block of Columbia Pike, merchandise from business.

5800 block of Crossroads Center, merchandise from business.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

SEX OFFENSE, Crescent Park Drive near Town Center Drive, 09/17/15 around 1:13 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached from behind by a man riding a bicycle. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim and fled. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 30 years of age, approximately 180-200 pounds, wearing jeans and sunglasses.

BURGLARY, 11700 block of Decade Court, 09/17/15. A resident reported someone entered the business and took property. A 2013 Honda Civic was also reported stolen.

BURGLARY, 11400 block of Washington Plaza, 09/17/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property. 

LARCENIES: 

11400 block of Ridge Heights Road, bicycle from school. 

STOLEN VEHICLES: 

2000 block of Royal Fern, 2004 Honda Accord.

11400 block of Washington Plaza, 1967 Dodge Dart.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN VEHICLE WITH APPREHENSION, Richmond Highway near Armistead Street, 09/17/15 around 3:02 a.m. An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle was reported stolen and the driver was taken into custody. Kaitierra S. Thigpen, 20, of Ridgeland, Mississippi, was charged with felony possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of schedule I/II substance, and three counts of credit card theft.

ROBBERY, 9000 block of Maria Court, 09/17/15 around 5:38 p.m. The victim was driving and saw a vehicle stopped in the roadway of a residential townhouse community. After going around it, the victim parked and approached the vehicle and engaged the driver in conversation. One of the occupants, a man, exited the vehicle and took property by force from the victim. The male suspect fled on foot and the other individual drove away in the vehicle. The victim incurred non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, in his 20s, and about 5 feet 8 inches tall.

6500 block of Springfield Mall, merchandise from business.

6400 block of Springfield Plaza, merchandise from business. 

STOLEN VEHICLES:

7600 block of Loisdale Road, Toyota Camry.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

SEX OFFENSE, Nathan Hale Drive near Commons Drive, 09/17/15 around 7:42 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached by a man from behind. The suspect inappropriately touched her and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as Hispanic, 20s, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds, and wearing blue jeans and a grey long sleeve shirt.
