The Daily Police Blotter for October 19, 2015 – Weekend Recap

PEEPING, 3500 block of South George Mason Drive, 10/17/15, around 11:06 p.m. A resident looked out the window and saw a man looking into the room. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect was described as dark-skinned, in his 30s, and wearing a knit cap and dark-colored jacket.

BURGLARY, 1600 block of Washington Plaza, 10/17/15. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

BURGLARY, 11500 block of Sunrise Valley Drive, 10/17/15. Officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm and discovered someone had entered the business and took property.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 6200 block of Interparcel Road, 10/16/15 around 8:20 p.m. The victim was waiting at a bus stop and was approached by a man. The man exposed himself to the victim then fled. The suspect was described as black male, 25 to 30 years of age, and wearing a black shirt, black pants and carrying a yellow backpack.

BURGLARY, 9400 block of Cloverdale Court, 10/18/15. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ROBBERY, 3900 block of Acorn Ridge Court, 10/17/15 around 9:53 a.m. The victim was jogging along a path and encountered a man. The suspect engaged the victim in conversation, displayed a handgun and demanded property. The suspect ordered the victim to walk away. The victim did not incur any physical injuries. The suspect was described as Hispanic, 20s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, a heavy build, and wearing a jacket and jeans.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 11800 Fair Oaks Shopping Center, 10/16/15 around 9:50 p.m. The victim was about to enter her vehicle in the parking lot of a shopping center and was approached by a man from behind. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded property. The victim kicked the suspect, entered her vehicle and fled. The victim did not require any medical attention. The suspect was described as light-skinned, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, and dark-colored denim pants.
