Men Shot in Hybla Valley Apartment

HIT & RUN CRASH W/APPREHENSION: Rt1 and Old Mt. Vernon Hwy.,11/18/15, 11:55 p.m. An officer observed a hit and run crash where an injury was sustained. That officer broadcast a lookout for the striking vehicle. The vehicle was spotted by another officer and a traffic stop was initiated. The driver of the striking vehicle initial failed to stop and a short pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle stopped without incident and the driver was arrested. The driver, Anderson Ochoa, 33, of Alexandria, was charged with felony hit and run, eluding, dui, and possession of marijuana. The occupants of the vehicle that was struck were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

BURGLARY: 12000 block of Greywing Sq.,11/18/15 12:30 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY: 11900 block of Winterthur Lane, 11/18/15, 2:23 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken.

BURGLARY: 11900 block of Winterthur Lane, 11/18/15, 7:47 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 7500 block of Pollen Street, 11/18/15, 5:45 p.m. Victim was walking near the intersection of LaGrange St and Pollen St when she was approached by two men; one from the front, one from behind. They engaged the victim in conversation and then the suspect in front struck the victim in the head with an unknown object. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone and fled to a waiting vehicle; a dark, four-door sedan. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspects were described as black, in their early to mid-20s.

ROBBERY: 9100 block of Aspenpark Ct., 11/18/15, 9 p.m. The victim was unloading groceries from his car when a man approached him, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured. The suspect fled on foot. He was described as black, in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and around 150 pounds. He was dressed all in black, with a black mask on his face.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 7800 block of Rectory Lane, 11/18/15, 6:50 p.m. Victim was walking along Rectory Lane when he was approached by two men. One of the men produced a knife and demanded the victim’s shoes. The victim complied and was not injured. The suspects were described as Hispanic males.
