GRAND LARCENY WITH APPREHENSION: 5100 block of Woodfield Dr., 11/21/15, 2:09 a.m. Officers responded to the report of two men walking through a neighborhood, looking into vehicles and carrying a bag. Officers located one of the men and recovered the bag which contained stolen property from several vehicles. The second suspect was described as a male of unknown race, wearing dark clothing. The arrestee, 23-year-old Rahmaan Woods, of Washington, D.C, was charged with grand larceny, credit card theft, providing false information to avoid arrest, and vehicle trespassing.

HIT&RUN, DWI, ASSAULT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER: Buckman Rd./Russell Rd. 11/23/15, 12:57 a.m. An officer responded to the report of an Acura sedan that hit a telephone pole and was attempting to drive away. As the officer arrived and parked: emergency lights on, the female driver of the Acura failed to stop before striking the police cruiser. The driver was detained and found to be highly intoxicated. As she was being placed under arrest, she kicked the officer. Rosa Perdomo, 39, of Brockham Dr. was charged with DWI-3rd offense, hit and run, obstruction of justice and assault on a law enforcement officer.

PERSON EXPERIENCING EMOTIONAL DISTRESS: 2200 block of Pimitt Run Lane, 11/20/15, 11:30 a.m. Officers responded for a 40-year-old person who was apparently experiencing significant emotional distress, and had consumed a large quantity of alcohol. He was also reported to be armed with a handgun. A perimeter was set up around the address and Mobil Crisis was summoned to assist. A temporary detention order was obtained and a peaceful surrender was eventually negotiated. Officers took him into custody without any injuries and he was transported to a mental health facility for further evaluation and care.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 7500 block of Leesburg Pike, 11/20/15, 11:33 p.m. A 49-year-old Manassas man attempted to use a public restroom when he was assaulted and robbed by two men and a woman. The victim’s wristwatch was stolen during a brief struggle; it was later recovered in the parking lot. He sustained minor injuries but refused rescue. He was later transported to a local hospital by a friend. The only suspect descriptions were that of two black males and one black female. They may have fled the scene in a Toyota Highlander with Washington, D.C. license plates.
SHOPLIFTING WITH APPREHENSION: 1900 block of Chain Bridge Rd., 11/20/15, 8:23 p.m. A person was stopped by store security after a security sensor was activated. Officers responded to assume the investigation. The suspect was found to be in possession of stolen merchandise from several different stores in Tysons Corner Mall. As a result, a 21-year-old female, Ga Ram Park, of Ashley Glen Rd in Annandale, was arrested. She was transported to the Adult Detention Center and charged with petit larceny and possession of burglarious tools. All stolen merchandise was returned to its rightful owners.

BURGLARY: 6600 block of Brawner St., 11/20/15, 9:10 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence and removed property.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: Exxon Gas Station, 3400 block of Holly Rd. 11/22/15, 5:10 p.m. An employee reported that a man entered the business, produced a handgun and demanded money. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash; the suspect also took cigarettes and fled. The employee was not injured. The suspect was described as a black male, 28-37 years old. He was 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and 150-200 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing.
BURGLARY: 9300 block of Tovito Dr., 11/20/15, 11:58 a.m. A resident reported someone entered their unlocked garage and removed property from a vehicle.

ROBBERY WITH APPREHENSION: Colts Neck Rd/Hunter Woods Plaza, 11/20/15, 2:06 p.m. A 15-year-old boy was walking in the tunnel below Colts Neck Rd. when three people came up from behind and surrounded him. They pushed the victim to the ground and took his cell phone. A suspect description was broadcast and three juvenile suspects were stopped at the Wiehle Ave. Metro Station. They were positively identified and subsequently arrested. The victim was not injured.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: Exxon Gas Station, 5700 block of Burke Center Pwy., 11/22/15, 4:22 p.m. An employee reported that a man followed him into the business, produced a handgun and demanded money. At some point, a customer entered the business and the suspect fled without any money. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, 25-30 years old. He was 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and about 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored baseball cap and blue jeans.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7600 block of Little River Turnpike, 11/19/15, 10:30 p.m. An employee of the business reported that someone entered the locked business and stole property.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 8600 block of Battailles Ct., 11/20/15, 8:28 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the garage, tampered with a vehicle but did not take any property.

SHOPLIFTING WITH APPREHENSION: 11900 block of Fair Oaks Shopping Center, 11/21/15, 8:43 p.m. Security observed a female concealing merchandise and using a tool to destroy security sensors. They detained the suspect and called police. Officers responded and assumed the investigation. As a result, Hydee M. Arellano, 46, of Chantilly, was arrested. She was transported to the Adult Detention Center and charged with two counts of grand larceny and possession of burglarious tools. The merchandise was returned to its rightful owner.
