Grand Larceny at Franconia Safeway


Detectives are investigating a grand larceny that took place on Thursday, November 19.  A man, described as a black male thirty to forty years of age, was seen leaving the Safeway supermarket in the 5900 block of Kingstowne Shopping Center. He had a full cart of merchandise that was not paid for, totaling over $200.  The man left the scene in a brown 1999 Chevrolet Astro van with Washington DC license tags.
