BLOG POST: Homicide Investigation in Annandale

WEARING A MASK IN PUBLIC: 4100 block of Annandale Rd. 12/21/15, 4:17 p.m. Officers responded to the Cardinal Bank for the report of a man seen walking outside the bank; wearing a mask and possibly carrying two guns. For unknown reasons the man abruptly left the area in a white van prior to police arrival. The van was later located abandoned a short distance away. It had been reported stolen in Baltimore County.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: Sunrise Valley Dr. / Centreville Rd. 12/21/15, 2:15 a.m. A 24-year-old man was sitting at a bus stop on Sunrise Valley Drive across from the Clock Tower shopping center. Two men approached him, assaulted him and took his wallet. They fled on foot. The victim was transported to Reston Hospital Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The only description of the suspects is that they appeared to be Hispanic.
