Police Seek Identification of Larceny & Credit Card Fraud Suspect

Police are investigating a larceny that occurred at the Springfield Volkswagen Dealership located at 6601  Backlick Road, in Springfield, on Monday, February 1.  Sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 10:05 a.m. the victim left her purse in an office and returned to find her wallet along with other personal items stolen.  The victim’s credit cards were used a short time later at nearby stores.

The suspect is described as black male, 170 to 190 pounds, 40 to 50-years-old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, and wearing a dark-colored jacket, cap, and jeans.
