Unlawful Entry and Sexual Assault in Centreville

Patrol officers from the Sully District Station were called to a residence in the 14400 block of Woodmere Court for a report of an unlawful entry on Tuesday, April 5. Around 11:21 a.m., the 77-year-old victim’s son reported that a man entered the residence through the front door which was closed but unsecured. The victim later sought medical attention and reported that a sexual assault had also occurred. Further investigation revealed that the suspect had engaged the victim in conversation and then sexually assaulted her. The suspect also took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. He was described as a black male, between 30 to 40 years of age and about 6 feet tall.
