Bank Robbery in Idylwood Plaza – Police Seek Assistance Identifying the Suspect

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Capital One Bank located at 7501 Leesburg Pike on Saturday April 16. Around 9:40 a.m., a man entered the bank, approached one of the tellers and passed a note demanding money. An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the suspect fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, stocky build, and was wearing a light blue shirt and a dark colored baseball hat.
