SULLY DISTRICT STATION

DUI/CHILD ENDANGERMENT/ARREST: 6100 block of Stonepath Circle, 05/10/16, 3:31 p.m. Police responded to a report of a woman who appeared to be driving intoxicated with two children in the vehicle. Officers responded and investigated. Rebecca Rena Xie, 42, of Centreville, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony child endangerment.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 5700 block of Hunting Creek Road, 05/11/16, 7:39 p.m. A resident reported that their front door had sustained graffiti by unknown subjects.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

MASON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 3200 block of Taney Lane, 05/11/16, 7:28 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and took property.

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY: 3000 block of Annandale Road, 05/11/16, 1:36 a.m. An officer observed occupants of a vehicle parked in front of a local convenience store acting suspiciously and approached one of the passengers to investigate. Further investigation determined the vehicle was reported stolen. One of the suspects fled on foot and was later apprehended. The other suspect was arrested at the scene. Saul Ochoa, 19, of Falls Church, was charged with possession of stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon. Ulises Martinez Melendez, 19, of Falls Church, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

Officers Investigate Theft in Springfield Town Center

Officers from the Franconia District station are investigating a larceny that occurred on Saturday, April 30, at around 8:06 p.m. The manager of the Finish Line store located at 6500 Springfield Mall reported that two men concealed merchandise and other items in shopping bags and left the store.

The suspects were described as black and approximately 25 to 35 years old. Both suspects were approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and were wearing black hats, white t-shirts, dark jeans, and black jackets. Do you recognize them?
