Detectives Release Sketch in Alexandria Area of Fairfax County Homicide
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a female who may have information regarding the homicide that occurred on Friday, May 20, 2016 around 2:20 a.m. in the 6000 block of Richmond Highway.
The female was seen in the parking lot prior to the incident. She was described as black, with a light complexion and almond-shaped eyes.

(05/20/16) Original Blog Release: Homicide Investigation in the Alexandria Area of Fairfax County
This morning, around 2:20 a.m., officers from the Mount Vernon Police District were called to the 6000 block of Richmond Highway for a report of a shot person. Officers located an unresponsive adult male in the parking lot and he was pronounced deceased by paramedics from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
Major Crimes Division detectives are actively investigating this incident as a homicide. The deceased man has been identified as Tarreece John Sampson, 24, of Alexandria. Mr. Sampson is an employee of the Fairfax County Public Schools. Next of kin has been notified.
