Detectives from the Franconia District are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred in the 6600 block of Loisdale Road. This morning around 10:16 a.m., an 89-year-old woman had just entered her vehicle and was approached by a man. The man assaulted her, grabbed her purse, and fled. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and did not require medical transport.
The suspect was described as black, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a muscular build. He had short black hair and was clean shaven. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a 2008-2012 Nissan Altima with a possible partial license plate of “2057.”

Directed Patrol: 05/02. An officer from the Operations Support Bureau patrolled the area searching for drunk drivers. Eight vehicles were stopped and one DWI arrest was made.

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING WITH APPREHENSION, 10700 block of Milkweed Drive, 05/02/16 around 12:36 a.m. A resident awoke to noises in the home. As another family member went to check, he encountered the suspect and was assaulted. A physical altercation ensued and the responding officers arrested the suspect. Unit89487 Hasan Abdullah, 27, of Great Falls, was charged with Burglary and Destruction of Property. The victim did not incurred physical injuries. The suspect mugshot is not available at this time.

BURGLARY OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING, 7600 block of South Valley Drive, 06/02/16 around 6:50 a.m. A resident reported a man entered the residence and took property. The suspect was described a white male, late teens to early 20s, between 5 feet 9 and 6 feet 1 inches tall, and riding a bicycle as he left the scene. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate him.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 9500 block of Pine Cluster Circle, 06/02/16. A resident reported an unknown man entered the residence through an unsecured door. No property reported to have been stolen.
