Join Us For A Glimpse Behind the Badge

Would you like to learn more about the Fairfax County Police Department and meet the men and women who serve? Join us as we host a three-hour forum on Saturday, June 18, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Kings Park Library, located at 9000 Burke Lake Road in Burke, Virginia.

Attendees will be presented with an overview of the Fairfax County Police Department and will have the opportunity to gain insight into police policies and procedures. Other topics that will be covered are use of force, what to expect during traffic stops, and the everyday challenges that officers face.

There will also be an opportunity to learn more about FCPD’s full, ten week Citizens Police Academy, summer programs for high school students, and how to participate in station level Citizen Advisory Committees.
