Update: Suspect Composite Sketch Released in Bus Stop Exposure
Police sketch artist worked with the victim in this morning’s exposure incident that occurred in the 2800 block of Fairhaven Avenue and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man believed to be responsible.
The suspect was described as dark-skinned, possibly black or Hispanic in his mid-20s. He had black hair with a mustache and beard. He was driving a gray, four-door sedan. If you recognize this person please call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
(Original Release) Police Investigating Indecent Exposure at School Bus Stop
Mount Vernon Police District – Officers responded for a report of an indecent exposure that took place around 7:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 9 in the 2800 block of Fairhaven Avenue, in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County.
The victim, a 17-year-old girl, was walking along the sidewalk toward the bus stop on Fairhaven Avenue when a man pulled up in a vehicle alongside her. The victim glanced over and observed the man in the driver’s seat exposing himself to her. The victim continued to walk to the bus stop and the man drove off. She immediately reported the alleged exposure to a parent, who then notified police. The suspect was not located.
The suspect was described as dark-skinned, possibly black or Hispanic in his mid-20s. He had black hair with a mustache and beard. He was driving a gray, four-door sedan. This incident is under investigation.
