Robbery at Fairhaven Convenience Store

Mount Vernon Police Station – Officers responded to a commercial robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 2405 Fairhaven Avenue, on Tuesday, June 7, at around 2:26 a.m. The initial investigation revealed that a man entered the business, approached an employee and displayed a knife. The suspect then fled with two cash drawers taken from the register. The victim was not injured.

The suspect was described as black, approximately 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, and with a heavier build.
