We're SO excited to announce that we'll be taking over the @WeTheDogsDC Instagram account tomorrow! 🐶 Chase will be the star of the show - follow along to see a day in the life of one of our favorite K9s! #WeTheDogsDC
Future recruit alert! 🚨 Through our PALS program, every Wednesday through the end of the school year, Officers Blakely, Winter and Owens go to Fort Hunt Elementary School to visit with the kids and answer questions about life as a police officer. A few of them have even been asked for autographs, cementing their hero status!
On an average day at daycare at Gatehouse Road, seeing kids playing in a fun and relaxed environment, you’d never know that a critical incident requiring our response happened in the building last September. Hoping to show the kids some friendly faces in uniform, our officers stopped by to hang out and answer questions!
