Help Us Identify a Bank Robbery Suspect

Mount Vernon Police District – Detectives from the Major Crimes Division are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at 7901 Richmond Highway on Tuesday, August 9 at around 2:19 p.m. A man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and there were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 35 to 40 years old, 180 to 190 pounds, wearing a blue hat, a light colored polo-style shirt and dark blue pants.
