Virginia Department of Transportation will be milling and paving on Guinea Road, reducing it to one lane, alternating between Braddock Road and Route 236 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the next few weeks. Stay alert and follow officers’ direction. They will be in the work zone for safety.

4900 block of Stonecroft Boulevard, property from residence
ROBBERY: 6700 block of Richmond Highway, 09/13/16, 10:24 a.m. Police responded to a report of a man who entered a business, approached two employees, displayed a handgun, and took an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled on foot towards Tower Drive, while police were arriving on-scene. Multiple resources responded to assist and attempted to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as black, about 6 feet tall, wearing a light gray shirt, black jeans, and a black hat with a red stripe. The victims did not require medical attention.
ROBBERY: 6300 block of Richmond Highway, 09/12/16, 5:47 p.m. A man reported that while he was in the parking lot, an unknown man approached him, displayed a knife, and demanded cash. The suspect took cash and fled on foot. He was described as white, approximately 30 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a dark backpack. The victim did not require medical attention.
