Detectives Investigating Shooting in Reston

Reston Police District – Officers responded to the report of a shot person in the 12000 block of Greywing Square on Wednesday, October 26, shortly before 11 p.m. The victim, a 42-year-old male, was walking home from work and was shot in the upper body near his apartment building. He was transported to Reston Hospital Center in non-life threatening condition.
The suspect was described as a black male, with a skinny build, wearing all black clothing.
A K9 team and Fairfax 1, our helicopter, responded to search for the suspect, but he has not yet been located.
