MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 1800 block of Somerville Drive, 10/25/16, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. A home was burglarized and property was stolen from inside.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 4800 block of Beauregard Street, 10/26/16, 7:49 p.m. Two men entered a business, displayed a knife, threatened an employee and stole cigarettes. There were no injuries. The suspects were described as black, in their 20s. Both were around 5 feet 8 inches tall. They were wearing dark jackets and blue jeans.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 2900 block of Johnson Road, 10/25/16, around midnight. Someone entered a home and stole property.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

EMBEZZLEMENT/ARREST: 7600 block of Loisdale Road (Springfield Toyota), 10/26/16, 10:27 a.m. An investigation determined an employee, a 26-year-old woman, responsible for issuing refunds to customers who overpaid, allegedly embezzled an estimated $30,000 between Thursday, September 29 and Monday, October 10. The crime was discovered during an internal company audit. The suspect printed several checks, made them payable to herself then forged a manager’s signature and deposited the check into her personal account. A patrol officer, assisted by detectives from the Major Crimes Financial Crimes Section, responded to conduct the investigation. Lauren Rabjohn, of Lorton, was taken into custody and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. She was charged with one count of embezzlement. The investigation continues.
