Martial Arts Instructor Arrested for Aggravated Sexual Battery of a Child

West Springfield Police District – Detectives from the Major Crimes Division, Child Abuse Section, arrested 29-year-old Renzo Martin Garcia Davila at his home in Springfield on Sunday, October 30, at around 10 a.m. and charged him with aggravated sexual battery.

On Saturday, October 29, a 6-year-old girl reported to an adult that a man had touched her inappropriately. The police department and Child Protective Services were contacted immediately and began the investigation. Davila, commonly known as “Garcia,” was quickly identified as the suspect and the warrant was obtained.

Detectives believe that there might be other victims and would like to hear from anyone who is concerned that their children might have had inappropriate contact with Garcia.

Garcia was an instructor of Martial Arts at “Lead By Example” on Huntsman Boulevard in Springfield. He was also an instructor at The Montessori School, located at 3411 Lees Corner Road in Chantilly. Lastly, Garcia was a soccer coach for the Springfield South County Youth Club until July of this year.
