Mason Police District – Detectives from the Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s assistance in providing information regarding the activities of a man they have arrested for assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a combination summer camp and martial arts school.
An investigation began in August of this year when detectives received a telephone call from the parents of the young girl. Their daughter disclosed to them that she was assaulted by then 27-year-old, Randon Millir of Fairfax. Millir was an instructor at the martial arts school in the 6300 block of Columbia Pike in Falls Church, where the young girl was a student. Millir had inappropriate physical contact with the girl in the latter part of July; during the time the summer camp was in session. He then maintained contact with the victim through telephone calls to her cell phone.
Millir was dismissed from the school when they learned of the accusations.
Detectives were able to develop sufficient information and obtained warrants on November 16, charging Millir with taking indecent liberties with a minor and carnal knowledge of a minor.
Millir turned himself in at the Adult Detention Center on Sunday, November 27 and the warrants were served. He is being held on no bond.
Anyone who had children in attendance at the summer camp/martial arts school during June and July of this year and may have information about this incident, is asked to contact Detective M.
