Woman Dies After Being Set on Fire; Detectives Searching for Suspect

Mount Vernon Police District – The woman whose boyfriend set her on fire and fled twelve days ago has died from her injuries. Delores Williams, 64, of Alexandria (Fairfax County) passed away overnight in the hospital.

Detectives are still searching for the suspect, Lewis Edward Reeder, who is wanted for aggravated malicious wounding. Additionally, detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a green, 2001 Ford Taurus, four-door; Virginia license plates VPW1915 may be on the car. If you see the car, do not approach it and call 911 immediately.
