Update to Double Shooting on Okla Drive; Decedent Identified

As detectives  continue their investigation into yesterday’s double shooting on Okla Drive, they have identified the deceased woman as 51-year-old Donna Pentek. The 53-year-old man who was shot, remains in the hospital but his injuries are now considered non-life-threatening. Detectives are attempting to piece together a chronology of the events that led to the shooting.

(Released on 1/6/16) Detectives Investigating Suspected Domestic-Related Double Shooting in Fairfax 
Mason Police District: At 3:25 this afternoon, we got a call for a shooting at a home in the 9200 block of Okla Drive in Fairfax; the call came from a family member. When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot; she was pronounced dead at the scene. They also found a man who had been shot; he was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives believe this is a domestic-related incident and that there is no threat to the community. They are currently conducting interviews, canvassing the neighborhood and gathering information. Crime scene technicians are processing the scene.
