Help Us Identify a Suspect in a Theft Case

Franconia Police District – Officers at the Franconia District Police Station are investigating a case of theft. On Sunday, January 8, a man went into J.C. Penny, located in the Springfield Town Center and took property. Surveillance video captured images of the suspect (pictured).

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 35 to 40 years old and around 6 feet 2 inches tall, 175 to 200 pounds with facial hair.

If you recognize this suspect, please contact Officer Maria Stecco at (703) 922-0889.

You are encouraged to contact police if:

  • You know anyone matching this description
  • You have seen this individual in your neighborhood
  • You have any information regarding this incident

Remember, the information you have, regardless of how trivial you feel it may be, could be the critical link in solving this case.
