Help Us Identify a Christmas Camera Crook

West Springfield District Station – Detectives at the West Springfield District Police Station are investigating a burglary and theft from the District Camera and Imaging store. On December 25, 2016, a man broke into the business, located at 6025 Burke Centre Parkway and took over $70,000 of camera equipment. Surveillance video captured images of the suspect (pictured) entering the store two times.

The suspect was described as black, around 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, and about 170 to 190 pounds. He entered the business twice during the night wearing distinctive clothing to include Puma workout pants with knee pads, military style boots, a Nike shirt, and an armored motorcycle jacket. Additionally, during the initial entry, the suspect was wearing a dark motorcycle full face helmet with flames. The second time he entered, he had a plaid winter hat with flaps and a scarf covering his face.
