UPDATE: Suspect who Fired Shots at Officer Charged with Attempted Capital Murder

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 5500 block of Quail Court, 1/24/17, around 1:50 a.m. Police responded for a report of a someone breaking into the garage of a house. Nothing was taken.

BURGLARY: 5800 block of Ausable Way, 1/24/17, around 6:20 a.m. Police responded for a report of someone breaking into the garage of a house. Nothing was taken, but the homeowner also noticed someone had gone through their vehicle and taken cash.

BURGLARY: 13500 block of Smallwood Lane, 1/24/17, around 2:15 p.m. A homeowner reported that someone came into the home through a kitchen window and took property.

LARCENIES:

14400 block of Compton Village Drive, property from residence

STOLEN VEHICLES:

None reported

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 8700 block of Sacramento Drive. 1/24/17, 10:29 p.m. Two men entered the Mini Mart, displayed handguns and demanded money from an employee. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash; the employee was not injured. The suspects were described as black, wearing all black clothing, with black masks covering their faces. They were seen getting into a dark colored, older model sedan.

BURGLARY: 4100 block of Arcadia Road, 1/24/17, around 4:00 p.m. A homeowner reported that someone came into the home through the carport door and took several items, to include a purse, credit cards and a large amount of cash.

5800 block of Crossroads Center, merchandise from business

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 7300 block of Leesville Boulevard, 1/24/17, around 11:45 a.m. A homeowner reported that someone had broken into their house, which was under renovation, and cut the copper pipes from the water heater and took them. There were also several hand tools missing.
