MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BRANDISHING: Route 7 near Colvin Run Road. 4/17/17, 7 p.m. A traffic altercation led to the driver of one car brandishing a gun at the occupants of another car. Police were called and a lookout was broadcast for the suspect and vehicle. An officer located the suspect vehicle near Route 123 and Great Falls Street. The driver was identified as 44-year-old Robert Henry Beach of Fort Washington, Maryland. An investigation revealed that Beach was in possession of a handgun. He was released on a summons charging him with brandishing a firearm; the weapon was collected as evidence.
