Mason Police District – Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who brandished a firearm in the parking lot of a local bar.
Officers responded to a report of a fight and weapon brandishing at “The Block,” located at 4219 John Marr Drive, shortly after midnight on Monday, April 17.
The fight had apparently taken place inside the bar; a man ran out into the parking lot, pulled out a gun and fired several shots. He left the scene on a motorcycle, and headed east on Little River Turnpike. No one was injured. No shots were fired inside the business.

WEAPON DISCHARGE/BRANDISHING: 4200 block of John Marr Drive (The Block), 4/17/17, around 12:25 a.m. Officers responded for reports of a large fight at the restaurant. An investigation determined that a man had displayed a handgun while the party was dispersing and then fired several shots. No one was injured. The suspect was described as white, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a blue and white jacket and skinny jeans. The incident is under investigation.
