MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 8200 block of Boone Boulevard, between 6 p.m. 5/24/17 and 6 a.m. 5/25/17. An investigation determined three office suites were broken into and copper piping was taken.

1500 block of Cornerside Boulevard, wallet from vehicle

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 7200 block of Arlington Boulevard, 5/25/17 around 3:57 p.m. A teenaged boy pointed a weapon at a man and demanded property. The victim confronted the suspect who then fled with his friends who were nearby. The suspect was described as Hispanic, heavy set, with short hair. The victim was not injured.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL ROBBERIES: 11500 and 11700 blocks of Leesburg Pike, 5/25/17 between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. Two businesses were robbed within minutes of each other. A weapon was implied, and cash and merchandise were taken. Detectives are working to determine if the cases are related. The victims were not injured.
