Man Found Dead in Centreville Pond

Sully Police District – An investigation is underway after a man’s body was found face up and fully clothed in a pond yesterday evening in the 5800 block of Trinity Parkway in Centreville. Officers and paramedics were called to the area around 7:30 p.m. after a passerby reported seeing a body in the water.

The man has been identified as 28-year-old Pedro Ramirez Matom, of Centreville. His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. Detectives say there were no obvious signs of trauma.
