UPDATE: Suspect Charged in Centreville Domestic Violence Barricade
Sully Police District: 41- year-old Kevin Lamont Blyther was arrested last night following a barricade situation in the 14500 block of Golden Oak Road in Centreville. Blyther refused commands to surrender and was taken into custody around 9:15 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons prior to going to the Adult Detention Center, where warrants were served for domestic assault, strangulation, and abduction.

Sully Police District – A man was arrested this evening following a barricade situation in the 14500 block of Golden Oak Road.
At 3:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to an unknown situation at the home. When they got to the scene, they met with the suspect and told him they needed to speak to the victim. The suspect fled upstairs in the home, and an investigation determined that a domestic assault had occurred. Officers continued to try and talk with the suspect, who refused to come downstairs. The victim and other people came out of the home, and the victim was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
A warrant was obtained for domestic assault and negotiations continued. Eventually officers were able to make contact with suspect and he was taken into custody. He was transported to an area hospital to be checked out.
