SULLY DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: Just prior to 6:00 a.m. yesterday morning the victim got out of her vehicle near the, 14900 block of Rydell Road, when a dark colored sedan pulled up. A man then exited the vehicle, pulled out a knife, and demanded money from the victim. A bag was given to the suspect, who then got back in the vehicle and left. The suspect is described as a white male, in his early 20’s, about 5 foot 11 inches tall, thin, with a beard.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY WITH ARREST: Around 9:50 a.m. yesterday staff and potential residents went to an apartment in the 3100 block of Southgate Drive and found the interior chain lock engaged on the door. Officers quickly arrived and searched the apartment, which was supposed to be vacant. During their search they found 24-year-old Deandre Demus hiding in a closet. Demus admitted to entering the location to stay the night. He was arrested and taken to the Mount Vernon Station, and was charged with unlawful entry.
