STRONG ARMED ROBBERY: Glade Drive and Pinecrest Road, 9/13/17 around 7:30 p.m. A 16-year-old boy was walking down the road when three male juveniles approached him and began to yell at him. One of the juveniles hit the victim first and then the other two juveniles began to hit him. One of the juveniles stole the victim’s iPod and all three juveniles left the area. This investigation ongoing.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

SHOPLIFTING/POSSESSION OF BURGLARIOUS TOOLS/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA/ARREST: 6555 Frontier Drive, 9/13/17 around 4:30 p.m. An employee of the Best Buy store watched a man take merchandise in to the public restroom. The man came out of the bathroom and the employee stopped him before he left the store. The employee could see merchandise hidden under the man’s belt. Officers arrived on scene and arrested the man. The suspect was also found to have drug paraphernalia and burglary tools in his possession. Vernon Craig, 32 years old, of White Plains, Maryland was charged with petit larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglarious tools.
