FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT/WARRANTS/ARREST: Lorton Rd//Route 1, 10/11/17, around 5:16 p.m. A police officer on patrol attempted to stop a black mini-van for traffic charges. The driver of the van did not stop the vehicle and continued to elude the officer. The driver of the van eventually abandoned the vehicle in the area and was found by the officers. The driver, 33-year-old, Douglas E. Harper of Woodbridge was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license and disregarding signal by police. Harper also had several outstanding warrants from Prince William County.
