UPDATE: Arrests Made in Carjacking at Springfield Towne Center

Franconia Police District – The man and woman responsible for a September carjacking outside Target in Springfield Towne Center were arrested in Prince William County last week. A preliminary investigation found Sharnel Payne, 39, of Washington, D.C., and Domonique Campbell, 24, of Occoquan, forced a woman out of her car at knifepoint around 2 p.m. on September 29 and drove off in it. The vehicle has since been recovered and returned to the victim. Payne and Campbell are being held in Prince William County.

Help Identify Suspects in Carjacking

Detectives are asking for your assistance in identifying two suspects who carjacked a woman at knifepoint on September 29th.  The incident occurred in the lower parking lot outside of Target at Springfield Towne Center, 6500 Springfield Mall. As a woman was getting in her car, the suspects pictured here approached. The female suspect brandished a knife, while the male suspect grabbed the victim and pulled her from the vehicle. The two suspects drove away and later used the victim’s credit card at a retail store in Virginia. The vehicle, a tan 2010 Honda CRV with Virginia tag WNX-3508, has not yet been recovered.
