Sully Police District – Detectives have charged Vidal Flores Cuchillas with murder after last weekend’s deadly bar fight outside Velocity 5 in Centreville. Flores Cuchillas, 38, was originally charged with malicious wounding on November 4. He has been held at the Adult Detention Center without bond since the incident, but today he was re-booked on the new charge of homicide.

Detectives continue to investigate what led to this fight that left one man dead and another injured. Up to 50 people are believed to have witnessed the incident and they urge anyone with information to come forward.

There are two suspects believed to be responsible for the second assault on a 26-year-old man and detectives are still looking to identify and speak with them. The suspects are described as Hispanic men in their mid to late 20s with thin builds. Detectives believe they were involved in the fight, but are only suspects in the second assault case, and not in Garnett’s murder.

If you have any information please contact Detective Vickery at 703-246-7865. No matter how minor a detail may seem, it could be what our detectives need to piece together what happened or lead to the identities of the two outstanding suspects.
