Shooting in Bailey’s Crossroads: Police Seek Information

Mason Police District – Detectives are currently investigating a shooting that took place early this morning that left one man in critical condition.  Officers responded to the 5800 block of Columbia Pike at the Palenque Restaurant, around 2:17 a.m., for a man that had been shot.  The man was shot in his upper body and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.  The suspect was described as a black man between 25 to 30 years old, with a thin build and was wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.  At this time, the motive is still under investigation.  Detectives are still in the early stages of the investigation and are working to find the person or persons responsible.
