Reston Police District – Two adults, one male and one female, died in a crash in Great Falls last night after their car ran off the road and hit a tree. Officers responded to the 10500 block of Beach Mill Road near Spring Vale around 7 p.m. for the report of a single-vehicle crash. Once on scene they located a white 2018 Infiniti Q50. The driver, 26-year-old, Benjamin Wenger, of Annandale, and a passenger, 23-year-old Abigail Ryan, of Great Falls, were pronounced dead on the scene. Another passenger, a 15-year-old female, who was in the backseat, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating the crash. It appears that the Infiniti was traveling west on Beach Mill Road, when it left the roadway in a northbound direction. It then crossed back over the road toward the south and struck a tree. The investigation continues.
