FCPD RECAP FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE NARCTOICS: 4300 block of Chantilly Shopping Center, 2/6/18 around 11:45 p.m.  Detectives from our Organized Crime and Narcotics Unit conducted a drug deal with a man who was soliciting to sell drugs online.  Detectives met 20-year-old Dennis Barahona-Urrutia and 25-year-old Kayla Salzman, both of Alexandria. After the transaction they were arrested and each charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.  Salzman was a Prince William County Juvenile Probation Officer at the time.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN VEHICLE/ARREST: Crown Royal Drive and High Meadow Drive at 2:40 a.m. Our officers from the Franconia station were investigating a large amount of tire and rim thefts from this area. They were alerted to a possible suspect in the area and saw him in a stolen car. Our officers tried to stop the car and it drove over the grass to get away. Stop sticks were set up and stopped the car. Michael Roane 27-years-old of Suitland, MD, was then taken into custody. He was charged with Grand Larceny, Speed to Elude, Reckless Driving, and additional charges pending.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO/RECOVERY/ARREST:  12000 block of Green Ledge Court at 1:59 a.m. Two teens were sitting inside a vehicle parked in someone else’s reserved parking space. We were called to investigate and found the car with two people inside, listed as stolen.  One of the teens was found to be a juvenile, charges pending.  The other teen, Remy Hamm, 19-years-old of Suitland, MD. was charged with Auto Theft and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
