Speed a Factor in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Sully Police District – Detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit believe speed may be to blame for a fatal motorcycle crash. The driver, 33-year-old Reginald Blake Jr., from Leesburg, died Friday evening after losing control of his motorcycle at Lee Jackson Memorial Highway and Pleasant Valley Road. The driver lost control after doing a wheelie, crashing through some brush and then over a ravine where the driver was then ejected. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced deceased.
