Detectives Asking for Public’s Help After Burglary Attempt

McLean District Station – Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who attempted to burglarize a home in the 1300 block of Alps Drive in McLean. He attempted to force entry without success. The incident occurred on July 10 around 2 a.m. The suspect is an older black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a heavy build.
