Detectives Are Asking for the Public’s Help to Identify a Man After Exposure Incident In Reston

Reston Police District –  We are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a man that exposed himself to two teenage girls yesterday in the 1600 block of Hiddenbrook Road.  The two teens were approached while walking from a pool area by a white man, approximately 6-foot-tall, athletic build, brown hair, with a scruffy beard.  The man’s comments to the teens prompted them to turn around at which point they saw the man exposing himself to them.  The juveniles walked away and found a nearby adult to report what happened.  The man then walked away in the opposite direction.

On Monday, September 3, around 5:00 p.m. a white man, approximately 6-foot-tall, athletic build, brown hair, and unshaven followed two teenage girls riding their bikes on a trail from Herndon Parkway near Winterwood Place. The man began making comments to the teens but did not expose himself.  The teens told their parents, and our officers responded to check the area, but no one was found.

There could be other incidents that have occurred involving this man that we are unaware of.  We are asking anyone with information related to similar events contact our Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800.
