Detectives Release Composite Sketch after Possible Attempted Abduction

Mount Vernon Police District –  Detectives are releasing a composite sketch of a man they believe was involved in the attempted abduction of a teenage girl. It happened at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, near the intersection of North Kings Highway and Fairhaven Avenue. The man approached the victim and tried to pull her into a car.  The victim was able to get away, and the man drove off in a red Chevrolet Cruze, similar to the one pictured below.  The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, approximately 5’6″ and wearing all black clothing.  The composite sketch is based on the description of the man provided by the victim to our detectives.
